Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6, also known as Humic Acid, is a complex mixture of natural organic polymers. It is a black or dark brown amorphous powder, slightly soluble in water and acidic, soluble in hot concentrated nitric acid and turning dark red. It reacts with alkaline solutions to form soluble humates. It has dispersing and emulsifying properties.
Because Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6 contains elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, as well as active groups such as hydroxyl, carbonyl, carboxyl, quinone, methoxy, and aromatic groups, it possesses weak acidity, hydrophilicity, complexing properties, redox properties, ion exchange properties, and physiological activity.
Based on the formation process of Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6, it is divided into primary humic acid and regenerated humic acid.
Based on differences in solubility and color, Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6 is classified into black humic acid (soluble in alkaline solutions), brown humic acid (soluble in acetone and ethanol), and fulvic acid (soluble in water).
Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6 is found in soil humus and low-grade coal. It is formed from the partial decomposition of plant residues in the presence of air and water. It can be extracted from peat, lignite, or certain soils.
Uses of Humic Acid Cas 1415-93-6:
Used as a soil conditioner, plant growth stimulant, pesticide, fertilizer, herbicide, pharmaceutical, oil drilling mud stabilizer, and ion exchanger, as well as in battery plates. Its sodium or ammonium salts are used as binders for pulverized coal to produce humic acid briquettes.
