Mineral potassium humate is a multifunctional plant growth drought-resistant nutrient with the effects of water-saving and drought-resistant, flower-preserving and fruit-preserving and yield-increasing.
Experiment on the role and effect of mineral potassium humate on grapes
I. Materials and methods
1. Test varieties
Fujimin grapes
2. Experimental treatment
Set 100g of mineral potassium humate per mu, spray with 50kg of water and spray with clean water as a control for a total of two treatments. Use in the early stage of fruiting.
3. Experimental method
This experiment conducted a multi-point regional comparison experiment and repeated 6 times. In each region, 10 grape trees with consistent growth were selected for fixed-point inspection and yield measurement. The time for spraying mineral potassium humate was 3-4 pm every day. Other management methods were the same as those for non-experimental grapes. The yield was statistically analyzed.
II. Results and analysis
1. Mineral potassium humate can promote early maturity of grapes
According to the fruit maturity test on the same day of the same month, the maturity of grapes treated with mineral potassium humate was 95%, 20% higher than the control of 75%. It can be seen that mineral potassium humate has the effect of promoting early maturity, and can generally be picked and put on the market 3-7 days earlier.
2. Mineral potassium humate can improve the quality of grapes
2.1 Increase the content of grapes and increase sweetness
After the grapes mature, the results of the grape sugar content measurement show that the sugar content of grapes treated with mineral potassium humate is 11.8 degrees, 0.6 degrees higher than the control of 11.2 degrees. It can be concluded that spraying mineral potassium humate in the early stage of grape fruiting can increase the sugar content of grapes and increase sweetness.
2.2 Improve grape quality and increase commercial value
After grapes mature, the appearance quality test shows that after spraying with potassium humate from mineral sources, the diameter of a single fruit increases by 0.4cm, the weight of a single fruit increases by 0.4g, the fruit is large and heavy, and it can be sold at a good price in the market.
It can be seen that after spraying with potassium humate from mineral sources, the quality of grapes is greatly improved, the commercial value is significantly improved, and the economic benefits are increased.
3. Potassium humate from mineral sources can increase the yield of grapes per plant
Spraying with potassium humate from mineral sources can increase the yield of grapes per plant. The test results show that after spraying with potassium humate from mineral sources, the average yield of a single plant is 4.45 kg, which is 0.45 kg higher than the control of 4.0 kg, and the yield increases by 11.25%, which is a significant increase. Analysis of the reasons for the increase in yield: Spraying potassium humate from mineral sources in the early stage of grape fruiting can promote the transportation and storage of nutrients to the fruit, increase the weight of a single fruit, and increase the yield of a single plant.
