Mineral potassium humate is a multifunctional drought-resistant nutritional growth regulator, which has obvious drought resistance and yield-increasing effects on grain crops and economic crops. Researchers have carried out the promotion and application of mineral potassium humate, collected and measured a large amount of data, and found that the drought resistance and yield-increasing effect brought by the application of mineral potassium humate on wheat is quite obvious.
I. Observation area and application dosage
The observation area is 34,652 mu of wheat planting area in 16 townships (towns), 27 villages, and 410 scientific and technological households. To ensure the quality of observation, 38 observation points were set up in the mineral potassium humate application area, with an observation area of 56.2 mu. In the promotion area, 2.34 mu of wheat was foliar sprayed and mixed with mineral potassium humate, and the rest was sprayed with foliar spray. The seed mixing dosage per mu is 70 grams of mineral potassium humate and 3 kg of water; the foliar spraying amount is 70 grams per mu and 50 kg of water. Spraying is usually carried out once in the booting stage and once in the filling stage.
2. Summary of the application effect of mineral potassium humate on wheat in the observation area
Through the observation and analysis of the physiological characteristics of wheat germination, emergence, tillering, jointing, heading, flowering, filling, milk maturity and other vegetative growth and reproductive growth periods, mineral potassium humate has the effect of promoting wheat resistance to adversity, drought resistance and yield increase.
1. It can improve the seed emergence rate and promote the development of crop root system
After wheat seeds were mixed with mineral potassium humate, the germination rate and emergence rate increased by 6.5% and 8.4% respectively compared with the unmixed wheat seeds. The radicle occurred 2-3 days earlier, the seedlings emerged two days earlier, the root system was thick and the length increased by 3.1%-15.3%, and the number of secondary roots increased by 3.3%-27%. This ensures the number of acres, improves the overall advantage of crops, enhances the ability to resist diseases, and lays a solid foundation for ensuring the growth quality and production quantity of crops.
2. Increased stem and leaf area, enhanced photosynthesis
After applying mineral potassium humate, the average plant height of wheat was 9.5% higher than that of wheat without application, the stem circumference of the first node increased by 5.4%-8.3% compared with wheat without application, and the average leaf area per plant increased by 10.5%. Because the leaf area is increased, the effective area of photosynthesis of crops is increased, thereby enhancing photosynthesis. The thick stems are beneficial to the resistance of crops to lodging and the accumulation of dry matter in the ears and grains, creating conditions for increasing the thousand-grain weight and increasing the yield per unit area.
