Research experiment on improving apple fruit setting rate by mineral potassium humate

Mineral potassium humate is a hormone-like substance with high biological activity. This substance has obvious effects in increasing crop and vegetable yields, improving crop quality, and improving disease resistance. Researchers have conducted a group of research experiments and proved that mineral potassium humate can be used to increase the fruit setting rate of apples and pears.

I. Test materials and methods

The experiment was conducted in Qinglong County, Hebei Province. The mineral potassium humate used was black flakes, containing 50% humic acid, 50% fulvic acid, and 12% potassium oxide. The test materials selected were large trees in the peak fruiting period with normal growth. In the same group of experiments, the crown, tree size and ecological conditions were the same, and the coefficient of variation of the branch and flower load was investigated to be less than 8%.

The mineral potassium humate concentration experiment used split plant plots, random arrangement, 3-5 repetitions, and the treatment on apples was spraying 5000, 2500, 1000, 500 times of liquid during the peak flowering period and clear water control. The five treatments applied to pears during the flowering period were 2000, 1500, 1000, 500 times of dilution and clear water control. The application period of mineral potassium humate was tested using a single-plant plot and repeated 3 times. The treatments were spraying 2000 times of dilution during the balloon period and spraying clear water control (full flowering period). The fruit setting rate survey was conducted after physiological fruit drop, and the survey data were analyzed by variance.

1. Effect of mineral potassium humate on the fruit setting rate of Marshal apple

The experimental data showed that spraying 500-5000 times of mineral potassium humate during the flowering period can significantly and extremely significantly increase the fruit setting rate of Marshal apple, among which 2500 times of dilution has the best effect, and 500 times of dilution did not reach a significant level. The experimental rules of the two places are basically the same.
2. The treatments of 500-5000 times of mineral potassium humate significantly increased the inflorescence fruit setting rate of Mutsu apple. Among them, the effect of 500-1000 times solution is the best. The effect of 1000 times solution on the fruit setting rate of Mutsu variety is significantly higher than that of 500 times solution.
3. Effect of different spraying periods of mineral potassium humate
Mineral potassium humate is used to improve the fruit setting rate of apples. Spraying in the blooming period has a significant effect, but it is ineffective in the balloon period.
